The puppet theater Hille Pupille visited us in May and performed the play "Wok Wok Wok". "Wok Wok Wok" is the call of the spadefoot toad, which, like many other animals such as the wild bee or the otter, is threatened with extinction. It was shown how these animals suffer from human intervention in nature, with wild bees no longer finding nectar because wild flowers are becoming increasingly rare or the offspring of the common spadefoot toad being endangered by pollution of the water.
Many thanks to the Förderverein, which once again supported the project financially and made it possible in the first place!
