A warm welcome!

With the start of a new school year, we all always look forward to a special day, namely the day on which we are able to welcome the new pupils to Georgschule.

This year, the school enrolment was also celebrated in the school playground after the service in St. George's Church. Mrs. Reckels first addressed the children, their parents and all those who did not want to miss this milestone. The third classes then welcomed the first graders into the school community by declaring on behalf of everyone: "You belong to us, we belong to you!"
And then it was finally time to go to class! The lions (1a) crept after Ms. Lanfer and Ms. Reckels, the owls (1b) fluttered away with Ms. Düker and the zebras (1c) galloped off to their first lessons with Ms. Jansen.
We (the Georgschule team) are looking forward to a wonderful time with you!
