All of a sudden it was here, the last day of the school year 2022/23 and thus also the last day of school for 57 students of Georgschule who will attend a secondary school after the summer vacations.
Of course, such a graduation had to be celebrated properly. First, the entire school as well as the parents of the fourth graders celebrated a word service.
Among other things, the graduation service was about a little shell that created something special when it allowed feelings to enter. In the course of the service, the children and their class teachers were blessed for the future.
After the service, the graduating classes performed a dance together and sang a song.
Afterwards, Mrs. Reckels addressed the children and gave them some "sunshine for their pockets" to go with their dance. The classmates from grades 1-3 also gave them a small farewell gift.
After the ceremonial presentation of certificates, a small farewell took place in the classes and then it was: Goodbye Georgschule!
