The polar bears were lucky! In a competition, a family member of a polar bear child won a trip for the whole class to the Iglo factory in Reken.
There the children (after being fortified with a delicious ice cream) were able to watch how spinach is harvested and then, just a short time later, how it is processed in the factory. The fresh spinach was tasted in the field and later in the factory the little gourmets tested the quality of the finished product in the form of creamed spinach ice cream. At the factory, many questions about spinach were asked and answered by the experts.
Finally, the prepared product was served with mashed potatoes and fish sticks and/or spinach sticks. It really was a great experience!
