On Friday, December 15, the children of Georgschule experienced a very special musical performance. Thanks to the support of Volksbank Gronau-Ahaus eG, the children's music theater PINDAKAAS was able to perform the play "Nutcracker and Mouse King" in the gymnasium of Georgschule. It is based on the fairy tale by E.T.A. Hoffmann and the music from Peter Tchaikovsky's ballet "The Nutcracker".
The awakening of the toys and the battle between the Mouse King and the Nutcracker were presented very vividly by actor Frank Dukowski and the Pindakaas Saxophone Quartet. The children of Georgschule followed the child-friendly performance with rapt attention. The performance ended with the children singing the classic "Kling, Glöckchen, klingelingeling" together.
