Christmas party

On the last day of school in 2023, all Georg pupils came together once again with the whole team and many parents in the gymnasium to create and/or enjoy the Christmas party together.
After Mrs. Reckels had welcomed everyone, the song "Advent" was sung by everyone together. Then children from class 4b introduced us to the Christmas traditions of other countries.
Afterwards, we continued with the Christmas musical "The Confused Santa Claus", which was performed by the children from class 4a. In it, the children from Epe waited for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, but he first made a few stops along the way. He first visited Mexico, America, Spain, Italy and France. Eventually, however, he landed in Epe and was rewarded with a Christmas rap. Class 4a was supported musically by Classes 4b and 4c.
The musical part continued: the third classes performed a dance to "All I want for christmas", the first classes sang "Das ist der Weihnachtsmann" and "In der Weihnachtsbäckerei" and the second classes expressed their hope for more peace in the world with the song "Berge mal versetzen".
The finale was the joint singing of the song "Winterkinder".
Then it was back to the classes, where the children and teachers said goodbye to each other for the vacations, not without wishing each other a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year".
